Payment Support
TO ASSIST YOU WITH PLANNING FOR YOUR HEALTHCARE NEEDS
Methods of Payment
We accept EFTPOS, Credit Credit Card (including AMEX), Cash or Bank Transfer. Consultation/treatment fees are GST free and due payable at time of service.
Insurance Rebates
We accept all participating health funds, and have preferred provider status with Medibank Private. We are registered with HICAPS for convenient, fast claiming following your treatment. In order to claim, you must have your card with you (or loaded on your phone). Please note, Deare Acupuncture Clinic is unable to see the refund amount prior to the claim being processed (privacy). As such, you will need to contact your provider in advance with any inquiries regarding your level of coverage/refund amounts. All claims via HICAPS must be processed at time of treatment. If this is not possible, you will need to pay for the service in full and claim with your health fund directly.
Deare Acupuncture Clinic is registered for WorkCover claims. We will need a referral from your GP, and approval from Workcover so as we are able to claim on your behalf (please note, your first visit under Workcover does not need a referral in order to receive treatment).
Deare Acupuncture Clinic is an approved NDIS provider (as such, plan-managed and self-managed NDIS funds are claimable). Please provide your NDIS ID and plan manager details at your first visit, so as an NDIS service agreement can be arranged for claiming purposes. With plan-managed funds, your invoice will be forwarded to your plan manager who, in turn, will reimburse Deare Acupuncture Clinic for your treatment. If you self-manage your NDIS plan, payment is to be made direct to Deare Acupuncture Clinic at time of treatment, and you will subsequently be reimbursed by the NDIS (in accordance with their allocated budget allowance).
An ACAT assessment is first required. The individual who meets the age criteria should contact My Aged Care, to ascertain if their care needs make them eligible for a HCP. If eligible, they will be referred for a face to face assessment by an Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT). ACAT will identify the appropriate HCP level to meet the individual's needs. It is through the HCP that the individual may select acupuncture therapy as a necessary part of their package funding, to subsidize their acupuncture treatments.

Transparency of Treatment
At Deare Acupuncture Clinic, we are committed to assisting your health journey with the best care possible, within our scope of practice. A core component to this/our process; routine progress reviews. All returning clients will be asked about your progress at every appointment, for the duration of your stay with us, and your treatment/management plan modified accordingly. New Clients; our focus is helping people to achieve results. Depending on the complexity of your condition, if at the time point of your 3rd-6th treatment progress is not at a rate acceptable to you (or we as your practitioner conclude that we are unable to further help you) we will consult with you and, if required, refer you to other appropriate health care professionals. If you have any questions or concerns before, during or post treatment please ask, we are here to help best support you. Please note, Acupuncture is not a miracle treatment that will fix you in 1-2 sessions. If that is what you are expecting/looking for then we are the practitioners for you.

No Show / Late Cancellation
Late cancellations (without 24hrs notice), or not turning up for your scheduled appointment, will incur a late cancellation fee of $55.
